How to log into your Harmony account

This article discusses the variety of login options you have for your Harmony account.

Logging into Harmony

You may create and login into Harmony using your email or our social login integrations. In order to use social login, please ensure the email address you have associated with Harmony is the same email you have associated with your social login account.

Notice

For security purposes, if your Harmony account has an unconfirmed email address, your password will be reset the first time you log in using Facebook or Google. This means if you want to start using the email option again to log in, you'll need to reset your password. Social login options are available for all Harmony platforms including MyHarmony, Harmony Desktop, and Harmony App for Android and iOS. The social login option available will depend on the platform you choose.

NOTE: Additional social logins may be supported in the future. You may check the software or app to see what is currently supported.

Log into Harmony with email

On MyHarmony Desktop Software, click Login / Signup, it will open Logi ID page in a browser. On the login screen, you'll be prompted to enter your email credentials. Once complete, you'll be redirected to your Harmony account.

If you’re using the Harmony mobile app, then tap the MENU icon in the upper left corner. Followed by HARMONY SETUP > ADD/EDIT DEVICES & ACTIVITIES. It will take to Logi ID page in a browser, enter the credentials to log in to your Harmony account.

If you'd like to change the email address associated with your Harmony account, you can do so at any time by following the instructions provided on our changing your user email or user ID article.

Log into Harmony with Social Login Accounts

If you've already set up a social login account using an email that's different from the email address associated with your Harmony account, you'll want to update the email address associated with your Harmony account in order to use the social login account option.

From the login screen, tap your choice of social login. If you're already logged into your social login account on your device, Harmony will recognize this and verify that this is the account you wish to use. Otherwise, Harmony will prompt you to sign into your social login account. Once complete, you'll be redirected to your Harmony account.

My original password no longer works

If you used social login to sign into an existing Harmony account with the same email address, then it is not possible to use the email option to log in to your account. You should use the social login option to login to the account. If you’re trying to login with the wrong login method, you will receive an email informing the login method you’ve tried and the actual login method you should use. If you’re using the email login then you can perform a password reset to set a new Harmony account password after which you may log in with it.

How to find the MyHarmony Desktop Software after downloading

On Windows:
  • On most Windows machines, you can access the MyHarmony Desktop Software through the shortcut on your Desktop or by searching for MyHarmony App.
  • On Windows 8/8.1, you can access the MyHarmony Desktop Software by navigating to Apps view. Alternatively, you can access the MyHarmony Desktop Software from the desktop in Desktop Mode.

On Mac:
  • Open a finder window by clicking Finder from the dock.
  • Select Applications from the left panel. You'll see the MyHarmony Desktop Software in the list of installed applications on the right panel.

I can’t confirm my email with Logitech because I can’t access that email account

For one reason or another the email that was used to create your Harmony account may not be accessible to be confirmed. In these cases, you can use the option “I don’t have access to my email” to change your email address. Alternatively, if you remember the login credentials, you can visit MyHarmony Desktop Software or the iOS/Android version of the Harmony App to change your email account to an accessible email so you can proceed with the confirmation process.

We highly recommend that you use a valid email address when creating a Harmony account because if you want to use a new device, factory reset your device or uninstall and reinstall your Harmony App an email verification will be sent to that email in order to login.

I used my Apple ID email to sign into Harmony but I am getting a "No account found with that email ID" error when trying to reset my password

This can happen if you choose the "Hide My Email" option when creating your Harmony account as Apple will create and send a unique, random email address to Harmony. You will need to use this email address to recover your password.

How to view your email ID if you choose the "Hide my Email" Option:

  1. Open the Settings app, then tap [your name].
  2. Tap Password & Security.
  3. Tap Apps Using Your Apple ID.
  4. Tap on the Harmony App.

"This App Received" will show the email ID that was created for your Harmony account.

Additionally, you will need to make sure email forwarding (Forward To) is turned on and has your correct email to receive the password reset email from Harmony.

You may use any email address for this option; however, if at some point you plan to use the social login option to log in, please ensure you are using the same email address with which you created the Harmony account. Your email address with Harmony should be the same, regardless of the email or social option you would choose to use for login purposes. If you'd like to change the email address associated with your Harmony account, you can do so at any time by following the instructions provided on our changing your user email or user ID article.

From the login screen, tap EMAIL and you'll be prompted to enter your email credentials. Once complete, you'll be redirected to your Harmony account.

Log into Harmony with Social Login Accounts

If you've already set up a social login account using an email that's different from the email address associated with your Harmony account, you'll want to update the email address associated with your Harmony account in order to use the social login account option.

From the login screen, tap your choice of social login. If you're already logged into your social login account on your device, Harmony will recognize this and verify that this is the account you wish to use. Otherwise, Harmony will prompt you to sign into your social login account. Once complete, you'll be redirected to your Harmony account.
