Harmony TLS deprecation issues

Transport Layer Security (TLS), is a security protocol utilized by Harmony. Due to an imminent industry-wide deprecation of TLS version 1.1, Harmony will be making updates to stay current with evolving security standards.

TLS 1.1 deprecation

If you have a hub-based product with a firmware version lower than 4.14.123:

You'll need to update your firmware to the most recent version before December 31, 2018 to avoid potential setup and connectivity issues.

Once TLS 1.1 becomes deprecated you will not be able to make modifications to your remote and may have trouble making changes to or reaching devices outside of your home Wi-Fi network. For information on how to update your firmware, please see: How to Update your Firmware

If your Harmony Hub firmware is version 3.x or lower, you will need to update its firmware before being able to make changes to your setup configuration. For more information, please see:
