How to correct your time zone

If the time on your remote is incorrect or your home automation event triggers at the wrong time, it may be due to the time zone being set incorrectly on your Harmony hub.

Note:

Your time zone should be set automatically during setup and will automatically adjust for daylight saving time. This change should only be required as a troubleshooting step.

Changing the time zone using your remote

To change the time zone on your remote:

  • Press the MENU icon in the lower right corner.
  • Press SETTINGS > REMOTE.
  • Press SET TIME ZONE.

    Don't see this setting? Ensure you have updated to the latest firmware.


  • Move the slider to remove the automatic date and time setting.
  • Press SELECT TIME ZONE and choose your time zone from the list.
  • Your remote will automatically sync any changes.

Changing the time zone using the Harmony mobile app

To change the time zone using the mobile app:

  • Press the MENU button in the top left.
  • Press HARMONY SETUP > ADD/EDIT DEVICES & ACTIVITIES.
  • Press HUB > HUB TIME ZONE.

  • Move the slider to remove the automatic date and time setting.
  • Press SELECT TIME ZONE and choose your time zone from the list.
  • After selecting your time zone, press < on the following screen to exit.
