What's In The Box

Harmony Pro 2400 remote

The Harmony Pro 2400 remote enables one-touch control of your home entertainment and smart home devices.

Harmony Pro 2400 Hub

The Harmony hub is the center of your home entertainment system and can also control many smart home devices, it uses a combination of infrared (IR), IP control, and Bluetooth to control your devices.

IR Emitters

The IR emitters connect to the back of your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub and help extend coverage for IR controlled devices. The IR emitters are helpful if your entertainment system has closed cabinets and you have devices behind cabinet doors.

Use of the IR emitters may or may not be required, depending on your setup.

IR Cable

The male-to-male IR cable allows the Harmony Pro 2400 Hub to connect directly to an AV device that's equipped with an IR port. The IR port is optional and not always provided by the device manufacture.

Use of the IR cable may or may not be required, depending on your setup.

AC adapters

Harmony Pro 2400 comes with 2 adapters. The larger adapter is for your hub, and the smaller adapter is for your charging cradle.

The hub power adapter may not be required, since Harmony Pro 2400 Hub supports PoE (Power over Internet). When using the AC adapter, your hub will take approximately 60 seconds to power on after being connected.

Charging Cradle

Charge your remote by resting it in the charging cradle when you're not using it.

Using Your Remote

Activities

Harmony allows for Activities such as "Watch TV" or "Play a Game". Once configured, start your "Watch TV" Activity and your volume commands will automatically go to your stereo, and channels commands will automatically go to your TV.

Turning Devices Off

Off Button turns off all the devices included in your Activity. For example, powering off your "Watch TV" Activity will power off the TV, cable box, and soundbar. * Some device maybe set by the remote to remain all the time.

Hub Placement

Depending on your setup, your installer has positioned your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub inside the cabinet or beside your entertainment devices.

Open Cabinets
  • Your Harmony Pro 2400 Hub should be in line of sight of your devices.
  • IR signals from your hub can reflect off of walls and other surfaces before reaching your devices. Your Hub does not need to be in front of your devices, but it should be nearby.
Closed Cabinets
  • Your professional Harmony installer may have placed your hub in your cabinet or AV rack, and connected the IR emitter to avoid the need for your devices to be in a direct line of sight.

Having trouble?

If you think your hub was acidently moved, we recommend contacting your professional installer and/or reviewing Properly positioning your Harmony Hub or IR Emitter
